Outstanding Room and Delicious Breakfast
My stay was splendid, especially in the Deluxe King Room with a Private Garden. The room was beautifully appointed, featuring large comfy beds and a luxurious bathroom with a powerful shower. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful variety of freshly cooked options made from local ingredients, which truly enhanced the experience. Just a suggestion could be to add some more healthy cereal options for those who prefer it.

We spent four delightful nights in a spacious Deluxe King Room with Luxury Bath, and the best part was being less than a 5-minute walk from the Imagine Gallery and just over a kilometer from the stunning Kentwell Hall, making our city strolls effortless and enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel! The area is perfect for walking and cycling, with trails leading to Lavenham and Clare. Our room was super comfortable, and having breakfast in our private garden was just delightful for our large family.
In my wife’s opinion, the garden space would be even better with a small play area for kids.

Cozy rooms and thoughtful touches!
We stayed 4 nights in the Deluxe King Room with the amazing roll top bath. Loved the private garden for breakfast, especially when munching on those delish strawberries. Paul was super helpful, even got us some Earl Grey when we forgot ours. Just wish the bathroom could’ve had a bit more counter space.

wow this place was just amazing! we got a super friendly welcome from paul and clare. the deluxe king room was so comfy and loved the luxury bath! breakfast was delish with locally sourced food, and the tips they gave us for local restaurants were spot on. long melford is such a cute town to explore too.
the access for parking was a bit tricky with our large car but we managed. also, a few more toiletries would have been nice.
